WHO WE ARE
Founded in 1952, the LECPTA is an organization for parents with children living in the Lakewood area. Its mission is to enrich the lives of neighborhood children by developing relationships among families and supporting local schools. In addition to fundraising, the LECPTA holds several social events throughout the year for members and their families.
GET INVOLVED
Join us for activities, information, support, and fun! Membership allows you and your family to participate in events, holiday parties, adult outings, presentations, kids’ activities and playgroups. You can also volunteer your time by joining our Board or volunteering at the annual Lakewood Home Tour.
LAKEWOOD HOME TOUR
For the past 45 years, the Lakewood Early Childhood Parent Teacher Association (LECPTA) has hosted the annual Lakewood Home Tour weekend. This beloved community-wide event has most recently featured a tour of six treasured Lakewood homes, as well as an in-person themed auction party. The Home Tour primarily raises funds for three local public schools: Lakewood Elementary School, J.L. Long Middle School and Woodrow Wilson High School.
